Dawn Foods is sponsoring the exciting ‘My Canada’ Student Cake Competition at Bakery Showcase 2024!
The sponsorship reflects Dawn Foods’ commitment to promoting innovation in the baking industry while celebrating the achievements of budding bakers and baking professionals across Canada and around the world.
Ontario college-level baking and pastry students will illustrate what Canada means to them by presenting a themed, tiered cake and plated dessert to be finished a la minute! Students may highlight any aspect(s) of Canadian regional foods, ingredients and culture to be judged by experts on presentation, technique, creativity and taste.
This unique competition, sponsored by Dawn Foods, will test and showcase the skills of baking and pastry students from Ontario college baking and pastry programs, provide them with feedback from judges and allow them to make connections within the industry. Students will craft cakes ahead of the competition that will be on display throughout Showcase.
