Dufflet and David’s create Chocolate Signatures

May 24, 2011, Toronto – Dufflet Small Indulgences and David’s fine Belgian chocolates, will combine their confection, baking and chocolatiering experience under the Chocolate Signatures banner.

Aligning David’s experience as a chocolatier with Dufflet’s elite baked dessert items, the partnership will focus on quality ingredients, creative innovation, award winning products and impactful package design.

“We are excited to partner with a company that has 20 years of expertise in chocolatiering and share our 35 years in baking knowledge from the Dufflet Pastries side of our business,” says Danielle Bertrand, president of Dufflet Group Inc.

David Katz, president of Chocolate Signatures Inc. agrees. “Our two companies are very compatible as we have the same philosophies – we expect to work with quality ingredients and take time to consider unique twists on classic flavour combinations. It’ll be an asset to have the baking background to refer to when we develop new products for the marketplace.”
