Celebrating 70 years

Nov. 16, 2009 – I've been taking a trip down memory lane today, looking through old photos and back issues of Bakers Journal in preparation for our 70th anniversary issue in March 2010. Seventy years might not have the luster of 100, 75, or even 50, but it's nonetheless a pretty impressive milestone. And it couldn't have happened without you, the baking industry of Canada.

That's why we're asking for your help.

Whether you work for one of our major corporations or the tiny neighbourhood bakery on the corner, we want to hear your stories and experience your memories of how you've helped shape this industry that has proven, time and again, to be a backbone of the Canadian economy – and a staple of Canadians' lives.
