April 10, 2012, Calgary – CheeCha Puffs, a product produced by a Calgary-based family company, has been selected from hundreds of products to be included in the celebrity gift bags at the ReelWorld Film Festival in April. In June, CheeCha has also been invited into the MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge.  The Style Lounge showcases specially selected products and opportunities, and is open exclusively for celebrities like Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, Ben Affleck, and Rachel Bilson.

"We're excited to share CheeChas with these celebrities," says CheeCha Puffs co-owner Tracey Cadrin. "They're low carb, low cal, and some are gluten-free, so you don't have to feel bad about eating the whole bag!"

CheeCha's selection as a product of choice at these gala events follows up on its placement in the January Golden Globes celebrity gift bags, and quickly caught the eye of actors like Russell Crowe, who recently went on record about his gluten-free diet.

At only 90 calories and 15 grams of carbs for a two-cup serving, this hot air puffed potato snack goes a long way for health-conscious snackers looking to satisfy a sweet or salty craving without sacrificing flavour or crunch. CheeCha fans fiercely defend their favourite flavours, ranging from classic (such as dill pickle and salt and vinegar) to exotic (including sweet cinnamon and luscious lime).

Owned and operated by family-based CadCan Marketing and Sales Inc. of Calgary, CheeCha Puffs are now available in stores across Canada, including Walmart, Sobeys, Bulk Barn, Safeway and Shoppers Drug Mart.
