Canadian Emma Kilgannon wins Bronze at World Skills in Switzerland

Lucerne, Switzerland – Congratulations fo Emma Kilgannon, who won Bronze representing Canada at the World Skills Special Edition baking and pastry competition in Lucerne, Switzerland, Oct. 10-15.

Led by Team Canada coach Alan Dumonceaux of NAIT, Kilgannon, a recent graduate of Humber College’s baking and Pastry Arts Management program, competed in Pâtisserie and Confectionery. She created circus-themed marzipan figurines, a sugar stand with entremet, chocolate bonbons and a chocolate showpiece.

“We are so proud of Emma Kilgannon for winning Bronze at World Skills in Lucerne, Switzerland!” said Dumonceaux. “Her dedication and intense training in the last seven weeks paid off.
