
Montreal – Delivering a speech in Montreal, Canada’s Health Minister Jane Philpott delivered the new that the federal government is overhauling Canada’s healthy eating guidelines with a strategy that will include new rules for marketing and labelling, with a focus on foods aimed at children. CBC reports that it will take anywhere from five to 10 years to implement the changes following consultations with industry, stakeholders and the public.
