Callebaut presents gold chocolate

Callebaut unveiled gold chocolate chips, honey-hued chips made with roasted whole cocoa beans.

The chips contain caramelized sugar, and have a shelf life of 12 months. Now available in Canada, Gold chocolate was sold in the UK as of April 2018.

Gold Caramel Callets™ is described as a chocolate with notes of toffee, butter, cream and salt. Each bag weighs 2.5 kg, and has a minimum cocoa content of 30.4 per cent and 28.3 per cent milk.

This product supports cocoa farmers through the Cocoa Horizons Foundation, which was established to help cocoa farmers and their communities to help sustainable farming practices.
