Cake as Art theme of The Cake Show

March 27, 2012, Toronto – Join the Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts at The Cake Show for an exciting day of live competition and an incredible showcase of fabulous cake.

March 27, 2012, Toronto – The Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts will host The Cake Show on
May 6 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Artscape Wychwood Barns in
Toronto. Cake as Art is the theme of this year's show, and competitors
are encouraged to draw inspiration from any and all sources, including
historical art periods, architecture, music, fashion and modern or
nonconventional artistic styles – anything and everything goes!

This exciting day will feature:

• A full-day live cake design competition featuring Bonnie Gordon College instructors
• A cake design competition
• Two live mini-challenges
• A Bonnie Gordon College Student & Alumni cake design exhibition
• A cupcake sale from Bonnie Gordon College Alumni We Bake in Heels
