Business excellence gets local recognition

is a finalist for the 25th annual business excellence awards sponsored
by the Brantford-Brant Chamber of Commerce.

Feb. 10, 2009 – Maidstone Bakeries is a finalist for the 25th annual business excellence awards sponsored by the Brantford-Brant Chamber of Commerce.

Maidstone produces and distributes all of the doughnuts for
Tim Hortons outlets in Canada and the United States at its
70,000-square-foot facility on Sinclair Boulevard. It employs more than
300 people.

Apotex Pharmachem and CKPC Radio are the other finalists for the awards, which honour companies and entrepreneurs who have had
significant success and a record of contributing to the quality of life
