June 22, 2012, Toronto – More than 800 guests fought the rain and attended the third annual Bluebird Art Show in Toronto on June 2. Local artists showcased their talents in displaying the growing popularity of food art, collecting more than 1,220 pounds of food for the Daily Bread Food Bank.

Bluebird was created in 2010 to provide a forum for advancing and
encouraging food artistry in the GTA while giving back to the
underprivileged community in Toronto. Created entirely as a non-profit generating event, Bluebird’s mission is
to push the creative boundaries of local artists and encourage a
community of like-minded food art enthusiasts while collecting donations
for the Daily Bread Food Bank. Food Dudes, Toronto's fastest growing and most
creative name in food catering and event planning, came on board as this year’s premier sponsor and provided mouth watering hors d’oeuvres and futuristic canapés for guests
throughout the evening.

With edible and interactive displays of food, BluebirdTO was a great opportunity for Torontonians to explore food as art for a great cause.
