Barry Callebaut invests $30M in new facilities

Three new facilities in North America – two of them in Canada – mark the expansion of the international chocolate and cocoa supplier.
Barry Callebaut Americas has one facility in St. Hyacinthe, Québec and one in Chatham, Ontario. The newest one is in St. Albans, Vermont and will focus mainly on providing coloured and flavoured compounds.
The investments amount t close to US 30 million, and are “in line with previously announced plans,” according to a press release from Barry Callebaut Americas.
“We continue to invest in our product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities. The completion of these investments demonstrates our commitment to a high level of service and product availability for our expanding customer base”, said Peter Boone, CEO & President, Americas Region.
