Bakery Showcase’s tradeshow floor filling up

Nov. 26, 2013, Mississauga, ON – The tradeshow floor at the 2014 Bakery Showcase is almost 70 per cent booked, shared Ahmed Mutaher of the Baking Association of Canada (BAC).

BAC is anticipating a sold out event, which runs from May 4-6, 2014 at the International Centre.

The tradeshow floor will include hundreds of booths in 100,000 square feet of space. Show features will include the College Creative Challenge, which is a friendly competition amongst a number of Ontario-based baking colleges designed to highlight the creative skills of those looking to enter the industry.

The Bakery Showcase is a national baking industry-specific event that features the latest innovations in baking ingredients, equipment, services, technology and baked goods. The biennial event attracts more than 4,250 food industry professionals including bakers (retail, wholesale, commercial), grocery chains, mass market and foodservice outlets including caterers.
