Bakery offers edible inked treats

Toronto – The Designer Cookie is the first
Toronto bakery to introduce edible ink printed directly on food.

Technology allows the bakery to print photos, logos, images
and text directly onto sugar cookies, cupcakes and chocolate.

Monica Krasny, owner of The Designer Cookie says,
"Opposed to printing on edible paper, this technology allows the edible
inks to be printed directly onto the sweets, which results in a tastier, more
consistent and professional looking end product."

The
technology and The Designer Cookie have peaked the interest of many
corporations, including Yahoo!, Rogers, Microsoft, TD Canada Trust, Maple Leafs
Sports and Entertainment, Under Armour, L'Oreal Paris and Flare Magazine.
