BAC partners with Annex Business Media to manage Bakery Showcase

The Baking Association of Canada is pleased to announce a partnership with Annex Business Media Inc., who will be managing Canada’s largest baking trade industry expo, The Canadian Bakery Showcase, as a multi-year agreement.
Scheduled to be held in Mississauga, Ont., at the Toronto Congress Centre between April 10 and 11, 2022, the show will carry on the tradition of delivering an eye-opening expo with educational sessions for its attendees. Media partner Bakers Journal will be in attendance, announcing the Inspirational Bakery Award winners.
Partnering with Bakers Journal to promote BAC events as well as the Showcase was logical for both institutions. Bakers Journal and the BAC have collaborated for many years and having Annex Business Media Inc., Bakers Journal’s publisher, organize the Showcase continues this great relationship.
Bakers Journal reaches over 90 per cent of bakeries in Canada. The Baking Association of Canada has a substantial membership and represents artisanal, independent and industrial baking industries in Canada.
Martin Barnett, Executive Director and acting General Manager of the BAC, states, “The cementing of this new collaboration with Annex Business Media Inc. will position the association to successfully navigate the challenges that the industry faces, as well as continue to develop exciting opportunities in education and outreach initiatives. The BAC board looks forward to working with our new partners.”
