BAC Atlantic hockey night draws enthusiastic crowd

Jeff Sarsfield of Apple Valley Foods, Jim Gennoe of Gennoe Baking Supplies, Atlantic Chapter chair Mike Raftus of Ardent Mills, and Kevin Rainey, retired from Sobeys, catch up at the first BAC Atlantic winter social event in three years. Halifax – Members of Atlantic Canada’s bakery industry came together at Halifax Scotiabank Centre for good fellowship and a fun hockey rivalry Jan. 19.
Manufacturers, distributors, bakery owners and operators and their guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening of engagement while watching major local junior hockey team Halifax Mooseheads claim victory over the Shawinigan Cataractes.

There was a lot to celebrate as members of the baking industry eagerly returned to the first winter event in three years since before the pandemic.
Along with the cheers were food, beverages and a fun hockey score points contest enjoyed by many.
