Artisano opens fifth location

October 8, 2010, Mississauga, Ont. – Artisano Bakery and Café celebrated the grand opening of a new location earlier this week.

Artisano’s fifth bakery, at 3145 Dundas Street West in Mississauga, offered special grand opening deals all day on Wednesday. The bakery gave away free coffee and pudding cake cookies to customers throughout the day, and offered free tastes of their pastas, pizzas, breads and sweets.

Artisano also hosted a “pay what you want” fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the Mississauga Food Bank and the YMCA Strong Kids program. Customers were encouraged to order anything on the menu and pay a price of their own choosing.

Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion officiated the bakery’s grand opening ceremony.
