Anuga less than three weeks away

Sept. 19, 2013, Colonge, Germany – Anuga is set to kick off Oct. 5.

The event, running Oct. 5-9, will cover 10 trending topics: finger food, gourmet products and regional specialties, halal food, health and functional food, ingredients, kosher products, organic, private label, vegetarian, and fair trade. Anuga will also feature 10 specialized trade show segments:

The executive summit on food values is an invitation-only pre-show event on Oct. 4. The keynote speakers are: Herbert Bolliger, CEO of Migros Genossenschafts-Bund; Zurich; and Harry Brouwer, who is the chairman of Unilever Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The executive summit is designed to offer senior managers in the manufacturing and retail industries a forum to discuss current trends, as well as issues that will affect the future.
The forum will address meeting the demands of population growth, increasing productivity, and improving operations and production procedures.

The subsequent sector meeting will offer guests an opportunity to chat and share ideas. Repeating his performance of two years ago, Joachim Wissler, one of Germany’s most renowned three-star chefs, will once again create an exclusive “Flying Buffet” at the event.
