Amla berry powder and extract

Nov. 6, 2013, Minneapolis – Taiyo has released a powder and extract form of alma berries called SunAmla.

Produced by water extraction, SunAmla powder is gluten-free and non-GMO. The company says that this product can be used for dietary supplements, nutritional bars, powder drink mixes, cereals, jams, yogurt, and ice cream.

Amla contains antioxidants, vitamins, polyphenols, minerals, amino acids and dietary fibre. According to a company press release, the berry’s complex contains 20 times more vitamin C than orange juice and 30 times more polyphenols than red wine.

The super fruit is also known for improving digestion, immunity, and blood pressure.
