2009 PACK EXPO Conference agenda set

July 16, 2009

ARLINGTON, Va., July 16, 2009 – PMMI, sponsor and producer of
PACK EXPO, has unveiled the agenda for the Conference at PACK EXPO, Oct. 5-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

With a theme of "Maximizing Performance,
Sustainability and Economics," the program will feature leading
retailers offering their unique perspectives on the private label sector, plus
more than 50 sessions by industry experts exploring an array of issues
affecting today's packaging professionals.

The conference will be held in
conjunction with PACK EXPO 2009.


Conference sessions are organized
into several tracks including Branding, Converting, Digital Package Printing,
Economics, Intelligent Coding, Legal Landscape, Materials, Processing,
Sustainability, Sustainable Operations and Vision Systems.

Each day’s program features a
keynote address at 10:00 am. Delivered by top executives from A&P,
SUPERVALU and Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, the presentations will
provide insight into why consumers are choosing private label brands and what
retailers are doing to enhance the consumer’s retail experience. For the
remainder of each day's programming, sessions run concurrently in four time
slots, allowing attendees to take up to four session per day and keep their
show commitments.

Discounted registration for the
Conference at PACK EXPO is currently available at Those who register for
conference sessions before September 15, 2009, will be charged $55 per session.
Fees go up to $75 per session for registrations received after September 15 or
on-site. Attendees must register for PACK EXPO before they can sign up for
conference sessions.
