The Boulangerie le Fournand is a seasonal business located in Percé, in the beautiful Gaspé penninsula. The bakery has four baker/pastry cook positions available for the 2017 summer season :
Principle functions : Prepare the bread and croissant dough. Make and cook by hand a range of bread and pastry items. Produce a range of french and québécois desserts. Prepare different bases, for example, pastry cream. Frost and decorate cakes and other baked goods. Prepare and cook homemade biscuits and muffins. Help produce other bakery foods. Clean and maintain baking equipment. Prepare items for sale, as required.
Desired expérience : One to two years professional expérience.
Competencies : Baking or pastry diplôma completed, or relative experience. Good understanding of the different methods and techniques of baking and/or pastry. Ability to organise and prioritise. Creative and dynamic, and takes pride in their work. Good flexibility regarding work hours.
Salary : $12-13 hourly
Duration : 3 months +
