January 31, 2012, Simcoe, ON – The Ultimate Pie contest sponsored
by BakeMark deadline has passed, leaving Bakers Journal judges with the task of
choosing three finalists, who will be announced on Feb. 13.
“We had a great variety of high quality entries from coast
to coast for our inaugural Ultimate Pie contest. We would like to thank BakeMark for their support of Bakers Journal's first pie showdown.” says Laura Aiken, editor of
Bakers Journal. “This is going to be a tough but tasty competition.”
Bakers Journal will contact the three finalists with details
and shipping instructions for their pies for the bake day finals being hosted by G. Cinelli-Esperia in Woodbridge, Ont., on Feb. 22.
