Moving on
April 1, 2010 – I wish this blog post was an April Fools' Day joke, but it's not.

I'll be leaving my role as editor of Bakers Journal sometime in the next few months.

My wife and I will be relocating to British Columbia later in April due to a job offer she has received. Although I will remain in my position for the next few issues of the magazine, a new editor will be coming aboard this summer. Business as usual will continue for the time being and I will stay actively involved in the baking industry.

This change is bittersweet, to be sure, and I do not instigate it lightly. I have greatly enjoyed my time as part of the Canadian baking scene, and I hope to continue writing for the magazine in the future. Thank you to our readers and advertisers for all your support.
