Oct. 1, 2009 – Butter Baked Goods
in Kerrisdale has had a close encounter with Oprah Winfrey, whose
magazine staff had most likely bought and tasted Butter's prettily
packaged marshmallows at Dean & Deluca in Manhattan.
Recently, they called Butter owners Rosie Daykin and her mom Pixie
Porcellato and requested more samples of their online products; one of
them could be a contender for the magazine's Christmas gift guide if it
passed muster, they were told.
