The beginning of the end
Oct. 31, 2008 – It's Halloween, which means November will be arriving soon and, before you can say "Santa Claus," Christmas will be here, followed shortly by the new year. And with the U.S. general election next week, there will be no shortage of news and politics to fill the papers and airwaves as we hurtle toward 2009. These final two months of 2008 are indeed shaping up to be a busy, turbulent period of the year, but even more so this time around because of the dire turn the global economy has taken since mid-September.

What are you doing to prepare for the holiday season and is the economic downturn affecting your business strategy? Are you thinking twice about hiring temporary seasonal help, or perhaps re-thinking your usual orders from suppliers? We want to know. Leave a comment here at the blog or cast a vote in our new poll that went up earlier today.
