 Eagle Packaging Machinery introduces a unique SELF-LOCKING carton tray forming machine for octagonal-shaped boxes. Using flat blank cartons, this uniquely designed machine automatically folds and tucks the 8 panels to the box and locks them in place. Maximum output speed is 20 trays per min. Box sizes range from 14” in length by 14” in width by x 4.75” in diameter to 18” in length by x 18” width by x 5” in diameter.
Standard features include a user-friendly touch screen control panel with easy to follow command settings. The sealed ball bearing v-wheels add to reliability and longevity of the machine. Optional features include a pre-load station, which enable operators to load a full stack of blanks while the unit is in operation; an air hose for quick debris removal, and an “auto idle” function that is programmed to keep the machine cycling with the vacuum deactivated if and when the product fails to clear the photo eye sensor.
An alarm will sound off after detecting the absence of a box or when the unit has unexpectedly stopped running.
