| Job Description | The Position: Kathbern Management is recruiting three Product Managers for its client, Give & Go Prepared Foods Corporation in Etobicoke, Ontario. The Product Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, producing and managing the entire brand or product lifecycle from strategic plan, to tactical activities. This includes delivering product launches across North America, and developing ideas to take the category into the next year and beyond. Experience marketing food products is essential.The Company: Give & Go Prepared Foods produces a wide variety of premium thaw-and-sell bakery products for retailers and food service operators across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. The company’s range of products is extensive, stretching across most of the bakery category including small indulgence sweet goods and single-serve and family-sized products. The company is a solution-provider, always striving to exceed customers’ expectations on quality, service, innovation and speed to market. Give & Go markets its products under category leading brands such as Two-Bite®, Homestyle™ and Caterers Secret™ as well as under its private label programs. It uses state-of-the-art production technologies and a unique in-house bakery process to produce consistent, high quality products year round. Give & Go complies with "Good Manufacturing Practices", operates at industry leading levels of quality assurance standards and procedures, and has received the highest levels of certification within its industry. The Requirement:Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Product Manager will drive product development across various teams including Product Development, Engineering and Sales. This requires: Knowing how to create catalogues, brochures, sell sheets and other direct selling pieces Developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and involve various internal departments in the execution Ensuring that all branded materials express the most effective and recognizable company message. Delivering product launches across North America, and developing ideas to take the categories into the next year and beyond Identifying current and future market requirements, conducting market research, and visiting new and existing customers on an ongoing basis Creating Positioning, packaging and design pricing strategies.To be successful, you need: A university degree in marketing or a related discipline Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Marketing or Sales role in a Baking or Food Retail environment Proven results in brand management positions in a North American Category Experience in concept development and innovation and in product development and packaging Superior presentation skills, written and oral Strong project management and coordination skills Ability to excel in a fluid, cross-functional team environment Knowledge of and skill in using MS Office. |
